Pruitt is Ending EPA Policy Known As 'Sue And Settle'
The head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a directive to his agency seeking to end the practice of settling lawsuits with environmental groups behind closed doors, saying the groups have had too much influence on regulation. Pruitt, who sued the EPA more than a dozen times while employed as the attorney general of Oklahoma, has long railed against the practice. Read more
