Carol Singer Neuvelt

Executive Director

Under Carol’s leadership, NAEM has grown from a small group of environmental managers to the largest professional community for corporate EHS and sustainability decision-makers. Contact her at csinger@naem.org.

Virginia Hoekenga

Deputy Director

Responsible for developing the association's educational programing, Virginia works closely with NAEM members to develop the annual EHS Management Forum, the largest gathering of EHS and Sustainability decision makers. To get involved with the Forum, contact her at virginia@naem.org.

Mike Mahanna

Program Director

Using a curriculum approach to programming, Mike develops highly targeted professional development conferences and Web seminars for corporate EHS and Sustainability decision makers. To speak at an NAEM conference or register for an event, contact him at mike@naem.org.

Sadaqat Ahmad

Manager of Information Technology

Sadaqat is the administrator for NAEM’s information technology networks and serves as lead developer for the Association’s website.

Elizabeth Ryan

Manager of Interactive Media and Communications

As editor of NAEM’s publications, Elizabeth produces multimedia content for the Association’s website, manages its GreenTie blog and moderates activity in its social media networks. To contribute to a publication, contact her at elizabeth@naem.org.

Briana Warner

Manager of Member Services and Administration

Coordinator of all members services for NAEM, Briana oversees the Association’s governance, including its chapters and Affiliates council. If you need help with any of your membership needs, contact her at briana@naem.org.

Frankie Hamme

Marketing and Sales Manager

Frankie manages all event sponsorship, membership sales and strategic partnerships for NAEM. In this roles she oversees all marketing campaigns and works closely with NAEM staff members to reinforce member value and create new opportunities for revenue. You can email her at frankie@naem.org.

NAEM Executive Director Joins Panel at GRI Conference

May 21, 2013

Today NAEM Executive Director Carol Singer Neuvelt will join representatives from Curio, Prudential Insurance Co., the New York Stock Exchange for a panel discussion about external sustainability reporting. The panel is part of the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) global conference, a three-day symposium in Amsterdam on promoting corporate transparency worldwide.  GRI is a non-profit organization that provides companies with a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework.

NAEM to Offer Strategies for Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management

May 20, 2013

On July 17-18, NAEM will host its annual Compliance Excellence conference in Minneapolis to showcase best practices for strategic environmental program management, risk reduction and auditing.With regulatory requirements on the rise at all levels of government, Executive Director Carol Singer Neuvelt said corporate environment, health and safety (EHS) leaders need strategies to address this increased scrutiny.
