Statement of Interest:
I am interested in playing an active role in the Affiliates Council because I believe NAEM is one of the most relevant professional organizations for EHS and sustainability. I benefit professionally and personally from NAEM and I would like to be able to spend time giving back to this organization.

Vision Statement:
My vision for the Affiliates Council is to find ways that the affiliates can serve NAEM in a manner that is beneficial to both to the organization as a whole and to members. A good example is the Affiliate’s Webinar initiative that allows affiliate members to provide useful information to members and revenue to NAEM. The affiliates who participate also benefit by gaining name recognition. The Affiliates Council can look for other services to provide to NAEM members as the organization continues to evolve. For example, the Affiliates Council has members who can provide expertise on topics relevant to specific industry sectors (e.g., consumer products, retail, manufacturing, etc.) and technical areas (e.g., GHG, Sustainability, Regulatory Compliance, etc.). I see the Vice President’s role as working with the President to harness the many resources and talent of the members of the Affiliate’s Council to meet needs of the NAEM organization.
