Jake Bookwalter

Jake Bookwalter

James “Jake” Bookwalter serves as vice president for Legislative Information Services at Stateside. Jake joined Stateside in 2011 as a legislative associate and served as a manager and senior manager before assuming his current role. As Vice President, Jake manages the overall legislative monitoring services provide to clients, manages each of the four (4) legislative teams and is responsible for the overall accuracy, quality and timeliness of the legislative monitoring and research. He is responsible for the training of the professionals monitoring and analyzing legislation and political trends in all 50 states and the territories. Jake also liaises with clients and frequently lectures about state issues.

Prior to joining Stateside, Mr. Bookwalter gained six years of legislative experience working as a legislative aide for the Connecticut General Assembly. During his time there, Jake was responsible for preparing testimonies, writing speeches, coordinating speaking engagements and informational forums, organizing outreach events, and working with municipalities and state agencies to address local concerns. Jake was recognized by the CT Horse Council (an equestrian group) for his advocacy work at the State Legislature. He also has political experience through state and national campaign work and served as the Chief Page for the Republican National Convention in 2008.

Mr. Bookwalter volunteers at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, serving as a member of the Young pARTners Circle. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

Software is a powerful tool for accelerating EHS & Sustainability performance, but even the best tool can fail if it’s not implemented well, according to a new NAEM report that was published today. At the heart of the findings in NAEM’s “Ready, Set, Implement: How to Successfully Deploy an EHS & Sustainability Software System” is that success—or failure— often comes down to how well the company mapped the system to its core processes, trained its users and sold the value to the organization.

NAEM to Showcase Solutions to Manage, Leverage and Master EHS&S Data

January 19, 2018

On March 5-7 NAEM will host its annual EHS&S Software and Data Management Conference to explore common data management challenges, showcase software solutions and identify opportunities to leverage analytics effectively. The annual conference will feature nine user demonstrations, interactive discussions, a full exhibit hall of the leading solution providers and an agenda designed to meet the needs of users at different stages of the journey.
