The New England Section of Air &Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will be hosting a joint event with the New England Chapter of the National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM), the premier organization for leading EHS and Sustainability professionals. Join us for a conversation with Regional Administrator Spalding and time for networking with your fellow Association members.

Curt Spalding, Administrator for New England Region (Region 1); United States Environmental Protection Agency

Curt Spalding

Since joining the EPA leadership team in February 2010, Spalding has been leading a holistic approach to finding environmental solutions in New England. He's emphasized efforts in community engagement, sustainability, environmental justice and green economy. Spalding has focused efforts in the region on three cross-cutting initiatives: climate change, stormwater and community prosperity.

Spalding has been heavily engaged in resilience planning efforts for Climate Change in New England. He has also been involved in a number of pilot projects working on sustainability in communities around the region. Urban revitalization is a priority for Spalding, and you can see it coming to fruition in places like Holyoke, MA and Bridgeport, CT.

Corporate EHS & Sustainability Leaders to Participate in Platte River Cleanup in Denver for 2016 NAEM Day of Service

When NAEM joins the Greenway Foundation for a cleanup along the South Fork of the Platte River in downtown Denver later this month, its efforts will be powered by environmental, safety and sustainability leaders from companies such as Toyota Motor North America Inc., Procter & Gamble Co., Lockheed Martin Corp., Bose Corp. and The WhiteWave Foods Co.
