Speaker biographies:

Kate Gibson

Kate Gibson

Kate Gibson is an experienced environmental scientist with expertise in environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance, environmental due diligence, insurance, and site remediation. For more than 20 years, she has managed and conducted regulatory environmental compliance audits and multi-site environmental due diligence projects.

Ms. Gibson wrote and implemented the first scope of work for an environmental management system audit to be accepted as a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) as part of penalty negotiation under a USEPA settlement agreement. Ms. Gibson has conducted ISO 14001 compliance audits at printed circuit board and chemical manufacturing facilities, as well as at nuclear power plants.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University and is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor.

Brad Waldron

Brad Waldron

Mr. Waldron is the Corporate Manager of Environmental Affairs for Caesars Entertainment based in their corporate office in Las Vegas. For Caesars, he leads environmental compliance programs, greenhouse gas management, and provides leadership for enterprise sustainability efforts at over 50 properties around the world. Before joining Caesars, Brad was the Vice President of NGE, an award winning engineering consulting firm based in Pittsburgh. In addition to his day-to-day management role, he functioned as a senior level consultant for facility siting, program development, and advised on site assessment, property redevelopment and due diligence matters.

Mr. Waldron is a registered Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and currently serves as a Vice President on the International Board of Directors for the Air & Waste Management Association and as a Trustee on the Board for the Institute for Professional Environmental Practice (IPEP).
