Form Abstract Submission Sponsorship Guidelines

Presenter Eligibility and Expectations
  • The sponsored session will be featured at both the in-person and virtual event. Speakers should plan to attend in-person for the in-person event and pre-record their session prior to October 21-23, 2021 for the virtual event.All in-person speakers/attendees will need to be vaccinated by October 11, 2021 and show proof of vaccination. If your speakers are unable to attend in-person and you are only interested in a sponsored session at the virtual event, please email schana@naem.org to let her know.
  • Sessions must be led by subject matter experts from your company. Preference will be given to sessions that feature in-house EHS&S client(s). There is a max of 2 speakers from the sponsor company allowed to speak in the sessions. Sessions should not have more than 3 speakers and 1 moderator total.
  • Presenters do not have to be NAEM members
  • All sessions are 60 minutes including audience Q&A
  • NAEM conferences stress sharing both best practices as well as lessons learned. Sessions that include presentation of content with facilitated dialogue and audience engagement tend to work best

Selection Process
  • Submissions should be made as soon as possible and will be reviewed on a rolling basis
  • Session content should be related to one of the following educational tracks planned for the Forum:
      • The Future of EHS (Sessions in this track will address emerging topics and the ways EHS work is/has changed as a result of the pandemic)
      • Advancing Sustainability (Sessions in this track will look at the ways companies are advancing their sustainability programs, addressing stakeholders concerns, and reporting publicly on their progress) SOLD OUT
      • Managing Risk to Increase Reliance (Sessions in this track will look at advances in evaluating and managing risk and strategies to build a more resilient business that is durable to evolving global dynamics
      • Foundational EHS (Sessions in this track will provide fresh perspectives on evergreen EHS challenges to build a stronger program and improve performance)
  • Submitters will be notified of whether or not their session has been selected within 2 business days of their submission
