John Young

John Young is a Director of Environmental, Health and Safety with Robert Bosch LLC. John received his degrees (Bachelor and Masters) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville. John has previously worked with BF Goodrich and Black & Decker but now has been with Bosch for 32 years. John’s first assignment was serving as Corporate Manager, Environmental Affairs for the power tool accessories group of Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. In 2003 John was promoted to Director of EHS for Robert Bosch’s North American EHS group. Having responsibility for the North American region of the United States, Mexico and Canada, John is the primary environmental professional for Bosch’s operations in North America. John eventually assumed the responsibility of Contaminated Sites Management in the region working with a variety of Bosch business units, environmental consultants and legal experts to navigate the management of Superfund sites and other contaminated sites resulting from differing types of real estate transactions.
