After graduating from California State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Ruth Martinez started her career in Environmental Health & Safety as a Project Manager at a EHS software company where she led the Implementation of Safety Management
solutions. As her passion grew in EHS, she was driven to further her career in the industry leading her to take on the role of Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Bunzl Distribution North America (BNA). Currently, she is responsible
for the development, planning, and execution of environmental, health & safety initiatives. Being bilingual in English & Spanish, she has designed strategies and put goals in place to ensure the company meets the needs of all employees.
Ruth was born and raised in Southern California where she enjoys spending her time outdoors, traveling, and volunteering as an English as a second language teacher.
