NAEM to Host Webinar on GRI's G4 Guidelines

Washington, DC, May 13, 2013 - Next week the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) will launch the G4 Guidelines at its global conference in Amsterdam, and on May 30 NAEM will host a webinar to explain what those updates will mean for corporate reporters.

“As an organizational stakeholder in GRI, we believe it’s important help our members understand how the field of corporate sustainability reporting is evolving,” said Carol Singer Neuvelt, Executive Director of NAEM.

The 60-minute webinar from 1-2 p.m. EST will feature a presentation by James Margolis and Jennifer Eastes, two GRI-certified trainers from ERM Group Inc. The consultancy is one of only six GRI-certified training partners in the United States.

“This will be one of the first chances for companies to ask questions about how the new guidelines will affect them,” Ms. Neuvelt said.

For more information about the webinar, please contact NAEM Program Director Mike Mahanna or visit http://www.naem.org/?wbnr_2013_grig4.

To Make the Most of an EHS & Sustainability Software Investment, Don’t Skimp on the Implementation

March 7, 2018

Software is a powerful tool for accelerating EHS & Sustainability performance, but even the best tool can fail if it’s not implemented well, according to a new NAEM report that was published today. At the heart of the findings in NAEM’s “Ready, Set, Implement: How to Successfully Deploy an EHS & Sustainability Software System” is that success—or failure— often comes down to how well the company mapped the system to its core processes, trained its users and sold the value to the organization.
