NAEM Launches Online Directory of EHS and Sustainability Service Providers

Washington, DC, Dec. 1, 2013 - Today NAEM announced the launch of a new online resource, where members can find trusted EHS and sustainability experts from among the association's Affiliates Council.

The interactive directory allows users to search for EHS and sustainability consultants by services, company name and location. Linked from the ‘Resources' section on www.naem.org, the site also features expert advice, white papers and blog posts.

"We are always seeking new ways to serve our members better," said NAEM Executive Director Carol Singer Neuvelt. "We hope this new format will make it easier for our members to find the external expertise they often need."

And because the Directory will be updated on an ongoing basis, it will provide users with an accurate listing of current services and offerings, according to Affiliates Council President Minda Sarmiento.

"It's very user-friendly," she said. "It's a great way for members to better understand the services that the AC members have to offer."

To Make the Most of an EHS & Sustainability Software Investment, Don’t Skimp on the Implementation

March 7, 2018

Software is a powerful tool for accelerating EHS & Sustainability performance, but even the best tool can fail if it’s not implemented well, according to a new NAEM report that was published today. At the heart of the findings in NAEM’s “Ready, Set, Implement: How to Successfully Deploy an EHS & Sustainability Software System” is that success—or failure— often comes down to how well the company mapped the system to its core processes, trained its users and sold the value to the organization.
