Do you struggle to collect and analyze data from multiple locations? Is lag time in your data analysis slowing your ability to make business decisions? See how two leading companies are using innovative web-based tools to measure, analyze and report EHS performance in real time.

In this session, we will help you build the business case for evaluating and adopting a web-based metrics system. You’ll have the chance to benchmark with your peers at Smithfield Foods and The Coca-Cola Company and take away knowledge on how their systems were implemented, the benefits, and the lessons learned as they increased the efficiency of their data collection and reporting.

There will be live demonstrations of both company’s applications and their features. You will be able to see how these tools have improved their data collection accuracy, quality, and timeliness through real-time collection and reporting of EHS data over the web.

Attend this program and learn about:

  • The insight Smithfield Foods and the Coca Cola Company have developed for the 50+ EHS metrics tracked in real time, including rates for water usage, electricity usage, waste generation, and lost time incidents.
  • The decision-making processes for employing a web-based tool, including convincing senior management of its benefits.
  • Making meaningful comparisons of subsidiaries, divisions, and individual plants against each other through normalizing data.
  • Program deployment, training and integration with other IT systems
  • The true costs, both spent and saved, as well as the limitations of these applications.

This program is right for:

  • Anyone looking to improve their own EHS performance program.
  • EHS professionals who want to benchmark against their peers.
  • Professionals interested in web-based tools to track and report EHS performance.
