Want to review and understand the changes to the ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Standard as well as the new information required to produce a compliant ESA?

The Phase I ESA has long been the industry standard to evaluate potential environmental concerns in commercial real estate transactions. The methods and protocols are described by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and provide "good commercial and customary practice" to conduct environmental due diligence. Last revised in 2005, the Phase I standard is updated every 8 years.

This NAEM webinar archive will review several key changes to the ASTM Phase I ESA Standard including:

  • Revised and New Definitions
  • Emphasis on File Reviews
  • User Responsibilities
  • Vapor Intrusion Clarification

This program archive is intended for any and all EHS professionals involved in:

  • Acquisitions
  • Divestitures
  • Property Assessments
  • Management of Risk

To Make the Most of an EHS & Sustainability Software Investment, Don’t Skimp on the Implementation

March 7, 2018

Software is a powerful tool for accelerating EHS & Sustainability performance, but even the best tool can fail if it’s not implemented well, according to a new NAEM report that was published today. At the heart of the findings in NAEM’s “Ready, Set, Implement: How to Successfully Deploy an EHS & Sustainability Software System” is that success—or failure— often comes down to how well the company mapped the system to its core processes, trained its users and sold the value to the organization.
