Lise Beutel, Senior Business Consultant; UL Environment
Lise Beutel brings more than eight years of consumer marketing experience, a background in science, extensive knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility and product-level environmental performance to her role as Senior Business Consultant for UL Environment.

UL Environment's unique value is combining science and environmental marketing to help genuine environmental leaders grow their businesses.

In the last five years, Ms. Beutel has conducted green marketing workshops for consumer packaged goods companies such as L'Oreal and Unilever and for member organizations such as the Institut du Developpement des Produits, a Quebec-based product development and innovation organization. She has participated in a number of conferences, including the National Postal Forum's Annual Conference, the Printing Industry of Northern California's Annual Conference, the Paper and the Paperboard Packaging Environmental Council.

Ms. Beutel also has acted as the French media spokesperson for the Sins of Greenwashing studies since 2007, interviewing with major French media such as Radio Canada and for a documentary on the cosmetics industry.

Prior to joining UL, she worked as the Marketplace Distribution Analyst for NIKE WHQ and as the International Marketing Manager for EMI Music.

She holds an MBA from McGill University with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility and has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Carleton University.

Robin Eichen Conn, Ph. D., Global Regulatory Affairs Manager; Cargill Industrial Oils and Lubricants
Robin Eichen Conn has three decades of experience in chemistry research and development, and regulatory affairs. She currently serves as the Global Regulatory Affairs Manager for Industrial Oil & Lubricants at Cargill Inc., where she manages product-based regulatory compliance and product stewardship for three high-growth Cargill businesses. These divisions focus on selling plant-based chemicals into industrial markets.

Ms. Eichen Conn joined Cargill in 1992 and has held positions in research and development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and public affairs. Her work in a number of Cargill businesses has lead to experience with a variety of regulations and agencies including food and food packaging (FDA), chemical inventory (TSCA), and hazard communication (OSHA) and equivalent regulations in Australia, China, the EU, Japan and New Zealand. She has also been involved in developing environmental positioning of products and life cycle analysis.

She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Harvard University and a Ph. D. from Princeton University.

Bill Grayson, Director, Corporate Sustainability; WESCO International Inc.
Billy Grayson is the Director of Corporate Sustainability for WESCO Distribution, a Fortune 500 Electrical Distributor headquartered in Pittsburgh, Penn. At WESCO, Mr. Grayson works with WESCO operations to help WESCO reduce its energy consumption and improve its overall environmental performance. He also works with the WESCO marketing team to communicate WESCO's energy and environmental achievements and highlight its "green" products for customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining WESCO, he was a Senior Associate at ICF International, working with public and private sector clients on greenhouse gas mitigation, energy efficiency, and other environmental mitigation projects. Billy's background is in environmental policy and energy efficiency, and includes work experience with Calvert Investments, Standard Solar, and the Sierra Club.

Mr. Grayson holds a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a master's degree in Environmental Policy (MPP) from the University of Maryland, as well as a bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College.

Allison Gregg, Manager of Sustainable Products; Sprint
Allison Gregg is responsible for sustainable product design at Sprint Nextel, a leader in environmentally responsible practices and products. She manages strategic and tactical initiatives related to environmental and human rights for Sprint's product portfolio.

By learning from all facets of the product lifecycle, Ms. Gregg is able to identify and implement approaches for the continuing growth of responsible products. She works with manufacturers to strengthen the sustainability of each product and has established stringent environmental specifications and internal scorecards. Most recently, she launched an unprecedented program for all Sprint handsets to be certified for sustainability through the independent Underwriters' Laboratory Environment. In addition, Allison is responsible for the development of the nation's first eco-friendly phone in 2009 and the creation of mobile content/application launch-pads to help mobile users find tools to help them make environmentally-sound choices.

She has 15 years of diverse experience at Sprint across technology, marketing, product, and corporate strategy.

John Hoekstra, Director of Sustainability; Schneider Electric Sustainability Services
John Hoekstra leads operations efforts for Schneider Electric's Sustainability Services division (formerly Summit Energy Services). As Director of Sustainability, he is responsible for leading strategy, technology, and implementation initiatives for client sustainability programs. His efforts include sustainability strategy, greenhouse gas management, waste management, supply chain sustainability assessment, resource efficiency implementation, renewable energy portfolio development, carbon position management and corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting.

His previous experience includes working in the environmental affairs and corporate governance departments for Dell Computer Corp. and Brown-Forman Corp., as well as process engineering with E.I. DuPont de Nemours. While with these organizations, he pioneered the implementation of "green" supply chain management programs and contributed to the development of corporate environmental policy and public relations communications relative to materials management.

Mr. Hoekstra has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville and is a registered professional environmental engineer.

Al Iannuzzi, Senior Director Product Stewardship, Worldwide Environment, Health &, Safety; Johnson &; Johnson
Al Iannuzzi is a Senior Director in the Worldwide Environment, Health & Safety department at Johnson & Johnson, where he directs the global product stewardship and green marketing programs. These responsibilities include leading Johnson & Johnson's EARTHWARDS® greener product design process, Healthy Future 2015 product stewardship sustainability goals, green marketing and emerging issues programs.

With more than 30 years experience in the EHS field, Mr. Iannuzzi has previously worked for the state of New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection and at an environmental consulting firm.

He is the author of the books, "Greener Products: the Making & Marketing of Sustainable Brands" (CRC Press 2011) and "Industry Self-Regulation and Voluntary Environmental Compliance" (CRC Press, 2002), and has written numerous articles on product stewardship and environmental compliance.

He holds a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Policy from the Union Institute and the University in Cincinnati, where he researched EHS self-regulation programs.

Balaji Jayaseelan, Head, Global Sustainability; Newell Rubbermaid
Balaji Jayaseelan heads the Global Sustainability group at Newell Rubbermaid, where he is responsible for planning and execution of sustainability strategy and building the sustainable analytics practice both at operational and product level.

Prior to joining the company Mr. Jayaseelan had worked in consulting and automotive industries.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master's degree in sustainability and is currently pursuing his MBA at Emory University in Atlanta.

Johanna Jobin, Sustainability Manager; EMD Millipore
As the Global Sustainability Programs Manager for EMD Millipore, Johanna Jobin leads the company's divisional sustainability efforts. Her responsibilities include managing the company's greenhouse gas inventory and carbon accounting systems, 'Design for Sustainability', stakeholder engagement and sustainability reporting activities. Ms. Jobin also supports the Merck Group's Corporate Responsibility activities.

She is currently leading the company's product sustainability strategy and branding; supporting the development of opportunities for reducing life cycle environmental impacts for customers; and sustainable packaging improvements.

Prior to joining the former Millipore Corp. in 2008, Ms. Jobin served as a Management Consultant, working with public and private sector clients in developing and implementing environment, health and safety (EHS), and sustainability management systems.

She earned a master's in Environmental Management and a certificate in Energy and Environment, from Duke University and is also an ISO 14001 trained auditor. She is currently President of the New England Chapter of the National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM), Social Media Liaison for the NAEM Emerging Leaders Group, and Chairwoman of the Programs Committee of the Society for Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP).

Scott Kaufman, Co-Founder; PeerAspect
Scott Kaufman is co-founder of PeerAspect, a new company building a global network of experts that helps companies third-party-verify environmental models and solve sustainability problems. Prior to establishing the business, Mr. Kaufman was the U.S. Head of Advisory Services at the Carbon Trust, where he helped to lead supply chain carbon strategy and reduction work with manufacturers and retailers. His work at Carbon Trust also involved partnerships and client relationships with organizations such as PepsiCo, AMD, Cargill, the World Resources Institute, the World Wildlife Fund, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and many others.

Mr. Kaufman also has management experience in the environmental industry, working with the Columbia Earth Institute, PepsiCo International, RecycleBank and the New York City Department of Sanitation.

He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University, where he focused on lifecycle analysis in municipal solid waste management.

Curt Michols, Senior Principal Specialist Global Environment, Health, Safety &; Energy; Abbott
Curt Michols has more than 28 years of global EHS management experience. He joined Abbott in 2000 and is currently a Senior Principal Specialist in the Global Environment, Health, Safety and Energy group.

He is responsible for the implementation, direction, and continuous improvement of Abbott's global EHS due diligence program to identify and manage EHS liabilities during acquisition and divestiture of property and businesses worldwide. He also oversees Abbott's global remediation program, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to operating divisions and facilities for various other EHS programs and initiatives. These include EHS integration, compliance auditing, hazardous materials and waste management, communications and sustainable packaging.

Prior to joining Abbott, Mr. Michols worked for 16 years in environmental consulting, where he developed, implemented and managed EHS projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University and has completed various specialty EHS technical and management training. He has presented and published on a variety of EHS topics throughout his career.

Mr. Herrmann has almost 20 years of experience, during which he has held roles of increasing responsibility.

Mary Ellen Mika, Supply Chain Manager, Energy & Environment; SteelCase
Mary Ellen Mika is Supply Chain Manager, Energy & Environment for Steelcase Inc., where she leads the company's "green supplier" programs, and is responsible for energy purchases for Steelcase North America, including renewable energy pursuits. She assists suppliers with improving materials and processes to enable Steelcase to provide more sustainable products while reducing its environmental footprint.

Ms. Mika also serves on the boards of a number of sustainability consortiums and community organizations. She is a LEED-accredited professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, a Master's in Counseling Psychology and more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and industry.

Lisa Roberts, Sustainability Project Manager; Publix
Lisa Roberts is the Sustainability Manager for Publix Super Markets Inc., the largest employee-owned retail grocery chain in the United States. Ms. Roberts has more than 20 years experience with the company, where she spent the majority of her career implementing and managing the company's environmental compliance programs for the retail, distribution and manufacturing divisions.

Since 2007 Ms. Roberts has championed Publix's sustainability program by supporting internal sustainability advocates from across all areas of the company, managing the annual greenhouse inventory and engaging customers through the sustainability microsite, annual report and social media outlets. Her most recent focus is on supply chain. For this initiative she has created a sustainability training program for the purchasing departments and surveyed suppliers to encourage engagement.

Ms. Roberts graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, and worked for the Ft. Myers NBC affiliate for two years before joining Publix.

Tom Svoboda, Director of Environmental Engineering; Smiths Medical
Tom Svoboda is the Director of Environmental Engineering at Smiths Medical in St. Paul, Minn, where he leads the development and implementation of the company's global restricted substance compliance system.

He has extensive experience in environmental compliance, systems engineering, variable cost productivity and supply-chain optimization, earned during more than 20 years in the aerospace and medical device industries.

Prior to joining Smiths Medical Mr. Svoboda worked at Intertek Health and Environment as restricted substance compliance consultant and at GE Healthcare as the restricted substance program manager for the supply chain.

Robert Skoglund, Senior Laboratory Manager; 3M
Dr. Robert Skoglund is a Senior Laboratory Manager within the Corporate Medical Department of the 3M Co. in St. Paul, Minn., where he is responsible for the science-based assessment and communication of the hazards and risks of materials important to the company. This includes a global hazard communication program and other regulatory and applied toxicology issues/tasks that impact product responsibility/stewardship.

He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota, where he teaches and advises students in both the Toxicology graduate program and the School of Public Health's Division of Environmental Health Sciences. Dr. Skoglund is board certified in toxicology and industrial hygiene, and has been lecturing on regulatory and applied toxicology for over fifteen years. He has also authored a number of peer-reviewed publications on these topics, including journal articles, book chapters, and scientific abstracts.

Dr. Skoglund has a doctorate and master's degree in environmental health from the University of Minnesota and more than twenty years of experience in regulatory and applied toxicology. He is active in a number of professional societies and trade organizations including the Consumer Specialty Products Association American Chemistry Council, Society of Toxicology and Society for Chemical Hazard Communication and has served as a representative for U.S. industry in the development of GHS and REACH.

William L. Strang, Senior Vice President Operations; TOTO USA Inc.
William Strang is Senior Vice President of Americas Operations Group and Chairman of TOTO Mexico. He is responsible for all operations, including: supply chain, design and development engineering, Quality, ISO, environmental, and the management of the five TOTO North America plants.

Under Mr. Strang's leadership, TOTO has received multiple awards for 5S implementation. These include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Water Efficiency Leadership Award, Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue's Water Conservation Leadership Award, the Argon Award, the City of Atlanta Phoenix Award, and Chattahoochee Riverkeeper sustainability award. TOTO is one of the largest users of Green Energy from Georgia Power.

TOTO USA has also developed secondary uses or recycling channels for the waste streams from the manufacturing process, converting them from waste to raw material feed stocks for other manufacturers.

Mikkel Thrane, Life Cycle Sustainability Manager; DuPont Nutrition and Health
Mikkel Thrane is an Environmental Engineer and has worked with life cycle assessment (LCA) of food products for almost 10 years - partly in his role as Associate Professor at Aalborg University and later in the role as Life Cycle Sustainability Manager at Danisco (now DuPont Nutrition and Health).

Mr. Thrane joined Danisco in 2010 and has been responsible for implementing a proactive LCA strategy. This means that he not only focuses on completing LCA studies, but also is heavily involved in embedding sustainability and life cycle-thinking into the entire organization.

He earned his Master of Science degree and his Ph.D from Aalborg University in Denmark. He is involved in The Sustainability Consortium and in promoting LCA through industry groups like the International Pectin Producers' Association and the European Food Emulsifiers Manufacturers Association.

Brandon Tidwell, Sustainability Manager; Darden Restaurants Inc.
Brandon Tidwell is Manager of Sustainability for Darden Restaurants. In this role, he is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate sustainability strategies and policies across all of Darden, integrating environmental considerations into the operations, culture, and supply chain, which includes more than 1,500 suppliers in 30 countries. Externally, Mr. Tidwell provides information to investors, guests and stakeholders about Darden's sustainability journey. This includes updates about the company's progress toward its goals to reduce its energy and water use by 15 percent by 2015, as well as to send zero waste to landfill.

Mr. Tidwell joined Darden from FedEx, where he served as Global Citizenship Program Advisor, leading the corporation's philanthropic strategy for the environment and education. He founded EarthSmart Outreach, a collection of urban ecosystem projects with the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, led the FedExCup Fore!Ever program with The First Tee, and created the FedEx Transportation Fellows with EMBARQ. Brandon was also the editor of the company's third Global Citizenship Report, published in 2011.

He is a candidate for a Master's in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler School of Business. He holds a master's degree in Social Work from Baylor and a certificate in Philanthropy from New York University. He is also the 2010 recipient of Net Impact'sForce for Change Award.
