Pat Brush, Vice President of HSE, Quality & Industrial Risk Management; Air Liquide S.A.
Pat Brush is the Vice President of HSES, Quality, and Industrial Risk Management for Air Liquide Global E & C Solutions with more than 25 years experience working in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction industry. She has just relocated back to Air Liquide's Houston office after spending three years in the Frankfurt, Germany office. In her role, Ms. Brusch is responsible for developing the strategy and managing resources related to HSES, quality, and industrial risk management for engineering & construction project execution and workshop production of cryogenic cold boxes and vessels globally.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Longwood University, and a Master of Science degree in Oceanography from Old Dominion University. She also completed post graduate studies in Community Health at the University of Texas School of Public Health.

Brian Burnikel, Senior Manager EHS; The Boeing Co.
Brian Burnikel is a Senior Manager in Boeing's Enterprise Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Organization for The Boeing Co. In this role, he is responsible for leading the implementation of common systems, processes, and tools for various Environmental areas focused on embedding EHS into the business. Mr. Burnikel's responsibilities also include oversight and daily management of the company's 4-walls environmental performance targets, as well as other external data collection and reporting such as: hazardous waste generation and disposal, greenhouse gas emissions, hazardous materials inventory, and material safety data sheets. He also serves as skill leader for the EHS discipline within Boeing's Enterprise EHS Organization where he leads efforts to attract and retain EHS talent to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Mr. Burnikel joined The Boeing Company in 1997 and has worked in various capacities outside of EHS such as Industrial Engineering and in Manufacturing as a First Line Supervisor.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Idaho, and Masters of Science degree in Technical Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also a Certified Professional in Disability Management, certified as an Accelerated Improvement Workshop (AIW) Facilitator, and is trained as a green belt in 6-Sigma. Mr. Burnikel serves on the Board of Regents for NAEM, is a member of Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI)'s EHS Council, and represents Boeing within one of the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) Work Groups focused on developing Greenhouse Gas accounting and reporting standards for the Aerospace Industry.

Mark Hause, Environmental Competency Leader; DuPont Co.
Mark Hause is Global Environmental Competency Leader for DuPont, as part of the Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental Excellence Center. His previous experiences include Global Environmental Engineering Technology Manager, as well as a variety of Leadership roles in Manufacturing, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Business Management in the 32 years that has been at DuPont.

Mr. Hause earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at Iowa State University.

His professional affiliations include: Board membership for NAEM, Red Clay Valley Association, and Adoptive Families with Information and Support. He also previously served as a Board Member for GEMI, the Environmental Associates of the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Science and the Center for Waste Reduction Technologies.

Susan Apel, Partner; K&L Gates
Susan Apel is Partner and a member of the corporate and transactional group of K&L Gates LLP, a U.S. based international law firm.

From January 2005 to August 2014, Susan was General Counsel of Ellwood Group, Inc., which manufactures engineered and heavy metal sections for capital specialty equipment manufacturers in the U.S. and internationally. While serving as General Counsel, Susan was responsible for managing the legal affairs of Ellwood Group and its subsidiaries, and also served on the Board of Directors of Ellwood Group from 2008 through 2014. Susan has also worked for WilmerHale LLP in Washington, DC and, clerked for The Honorable Carolyn Dimmick in the Western District of Washington.

Susan holds a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and a A.B. from Kenyon College.

She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Western PA Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel from 2007 to 2014 and served as its President in 2014, prior to her return to private practice. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Bridgeway Capital since 2008.

Nicole Hamilton, Manager EHS; Ashland Inc.
Nicole Hamilton is the Senior Manager of the Global Environmental and Sustainability group at Ashland Inc. In this role she supports environmental compliance and sustainability efforts on a global scale for all three of Ashland's business units: Ashland Specialty Ingredients, Ashland Performance Materials and Valvoline.

Ms. Hamilton joined Ashland in 2007 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the environmental, health, safety & product regulatory corporate function. She recently completed redesign of Ashland's process for identifying and assessing EHS and public relations risk. She has also participated in multiple acquisition and divestiture projects during her time with Ashland.

Prior to joining Ashland, Ms. Hamilton worked as a process engineer for Osram Sylvania and managed environmental projects for clients as a consultant with RMT Inc. (now TRC Solutions), Keramida Environmental, and Environmental Resource Management Inc. (ERM).

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Ohio.

Brad Waldron, Director, Corporate Risk Management; Caesars Entertainment Corp.
Brad Waldron is Director of Corporate Risk Management for Caesars Entertainment headquartered in Las Vegas. His responsibilities include managing risk throughout the organization's more than 50 global properties related to operations associated with facilities, acquisitions/divestitures, insurance programs, environmental compliance, and the health and safety of guests and employees.

Before making the transition to Caesars in 2012, Mr. Waldron was Vice President of NGE LLC, an environmental consulting firm based in Pittsburgh. After joining the company as a start-up in 2002, he grew to focus his efforts on serving as a senior level project advisor for numerous public and private clients on matters related to compliance, management programs and permitting. Additionally, he had a day-to-day management role regarding the company's strategic direction, projects and staff oversight.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and an Master of Science degree in Environmental Management, and is a registered Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). He is currently Vice President and Finance Chair of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA).

Hal Ehrhardt, Senior Manager of Energy, Environment and Common Systems; Lockheed Martin Corp.
Hal Ehrhardt is the Senior Manager of Energy, Environment and Common Systems team within the Corporate Energy, Environment, Safety and Health (CEESH) organization at Lockheed Martin Corp. In this role, he is responsible for the various enterprise-wide energy and environmental programs that the company implements to achieve its corporate objectives. These include the Go Green 2020 goals related to energy, carbon, water and waste.

Mr. Ehhardt has more than 35 years of ESH management experience at both the site and corporate level, across three companies and multiple locations. His involvement in property investigations, management, purchases, leases and sales predates the existence of ASTM 1527, which now provides due diligence guidance. He has handled the ESH aspects of business mergers and acquisitions, as well as the subsequent ESH integration. Having been “sold” twice during his career and managing the ESH aspects of those transitions has provided Hal a different perspective relative to the M&A field.

He holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a Certified Safety Professional.

Curt Michols, Senior Principal Specialist Global EHS & Energy; Abbott Laboratories
Curt Michols is Senior Principal Specialist for Global EHS & Energy with Abbott Laboratories. A senior leader with more than 29 years of global EHS management experience, Mr. Michols is responsible for the implementation, direction and continuous improvement of, Abbott's Global EHS Due Diligence Program to identify and manage EHS liabilities during mergers, acquisitions and divestitures worldwide. He also provides direction to Abbott's Global Remediation Program, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to operating divisions and facilities for various other EHS programs and initiatives including EHS integration, compliance auditing, hazardous materials and waste management, communications and sustainable packaging.

Prior to joining Abbott in 2000, Mr. Michols worked for 16 years in environmental consulting, where he was responsible for a variety of EHS projects for clients in the public and private sectors.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University; and, has completed various specialty EHS technical and management training, and presented and published on a variety of EHS topics, throughout his career.

Juan-Carlos Tabora, Environmental and Sustainability Manager; Ryder Inc.
Juan-Carlos (JC) Tabora joined the Ryder Corporate team as an Environmental Manager in 2011. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing systems and tools throughout the organization in support of Ryder environmental and sustainability strategic goals. His responsibilities range from providing environmental support (audits, training, waste reduction) for more than 700 facilities, to identifying incentives for alternative fuel vehicles (AFV) and infrastructure – over $24M secured.

Mr. Tabora has more than 17 years of experience leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Sustainability programs benchmarking, reporting and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Ryder, he led the development of EHS & Sustainability programs at U-Haul International and served 11 years in active duty with the United States Army as an aircraft technician, pilot and managing EHS programs.

Mr. Tabora is a graduate of Arizona State University and holds degrees in Environmental Industrial Technologies and a master's in Business Administration (MBA).

Seaton Thedinger, Associate; Hogan Lovells
Seaton Thedinger's legal practice focuses on environmental, health, and safety due diligence in corporate transactions, compliance counseling, enforcement defense, and cleanups and remediation of contaminated sites. His environmental practice spans a broad range of industries, including the oil and gas, agricultural, chemical, defense, healthcare, utility, and manufacturing industries.

He has extensive experience assessing and managing environmental liability in corporate transactions, including managing due diligence processes, negotiating allocation of environmental liability, and obtaining and transferring regulatory approvals. In addition, Mr. Thedinger frequently counsels and represents corporate clients in federal and state environmental enforcement, compliance, and permitting matters.

He has a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.

Sam Waldo, Director of EHS & Support Services; Amphenol Corp.
Sam Waldo is Director of EHS & Support Services at Amphenol Corp., the world's second-largest manufacturer of electronic interconnect products, headquartered in Wallingford, Conn. His primary responsibilities include overall corporate oversight of EHS, Sustainability and Social Responsibility activities at Amphenol's 145 operations, managing past practices remediation sites and EHS due diligence on mergers and acquisitions projects. He also acts as liaison between executive management and worldwide operations on Sustainability and Product Compliance issues.

Mr. Waldo has been with Amphenol for the past 27 years and has worked in the environmental field for 39 years, implementing major environmental programs as a regulator and for industry. Prior to joining Amphenol in 1987, Sam worked for the Virginia State Water Control Board and for Raytheon Company. He has also has served as President and Vice President of the Land Trust in his home town, which manages approximately 540 acres of open space and farmland.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary and an Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech.

Sarah Gibson, Environmental Programs Manager; Dell Inc.
Sarah Gibson is the Global Environmental Programs Manager at Dell Inc., based in Round Rock, Texas, supporting Dell's facilities and manufacturing operations. In this role she manages: the global ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 programs; environmental, health and safety procedure and policy development; environmental strategy and reporting for operations; and provides internal technical expertise and consulting company-wide for environmental, sustainability and EHS programs such as climate change/emissions reporting, energy management and green building design.

She joined Dell in 2002, and has spent most of her career managing environmental and EHS programs in the technology industry.

Ms. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universities of Massachusetts and Pittsburgh, respectively.

Marty Healy, Enterprise EHS Leadership Team, W. L. Gore & Associates Inc.
Martin (Marty) Healy is the Enterprise Environment, Health & Safety Business Leader for W. L. Gore and Associates, where he has worked for more than 25 years. His primary responsibility is to ensure the EHS/Environmental Responsibility function is aligned with the Enterprise strategic objectives and goals and to monitor and plan for EHS related emerging risks/opportunities that could have broad Enterprise wide impact.

In Gore's unique “Lattice” organizational structure, there are no titles, hierarchy, or assigned authority. Influence, relationships, and consensus building is used to drive change. In leading the Environmental Responsibility initiative, leveraging the organizational culture by identifying the value to different stakeholders is key.

Prior to joining Gore, he served as Deputy Director of Industrial Hygiene for the U.S. Navy Medical Command/Navy Environmental Health Center.

Mr. Healy has more than 35 years of experience in EHS. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Old Dominion University; a Master of Health Science in Occupational Safety and Health from The Johns Hopkins University; and a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional.

Ryan McMullen, Environmental & Safety Manager; Toyota Motor Sales
Ryan McMullan leads several EHS and Sustainability programs in the Environmental, HazMat, and Safety division of Corporate Responsibility at Toyota Motor Sales. As a student of the Toyota Production System and adult education, he has been advancing engagement in the operational environmental and safety missions of the company. In addition to managing EHS compliance, he develops sustainability strategy for North America, including recycling, energy conservation, greenhouse gas inventories, and corporate planning.

Mr. McMullan earned his master's degree in Corporate Environmental Management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara and his bachelor's degree from Rice University.

Mike Gabaly, Director Finance & Business Operations, EES&H; Lockheed Martin Corp.
Mike Gabaly is the Director of Finance & Business Operations: EES&H for Lockheed Martin Corp. In this role, he is responsible for the facility management and safety and environmental readiness of more than 300 operations globally. His responsibilities also include energy, environmental, safety and health programs, certifications and risk mitigation initiatives.

Mr. Gabaly has worked at Lockheed Martin for 30 years, in various capacities that enabled him to develop a diverse set of business acumen while focusing on sustainability policies, strategies and affordability actions for the company. Recently he created and chaired a development program that focuses on shaping today's talent into the future leaders of the business.

He has a bachelor's degree in Finance and a MBA, both from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Tracy Perkins, Senior Manager, Americas Environmental Programs; SABIC Innovative
Tracy Perkins is Senior Manager of Americas Environmental Programs for Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). In this role, her responsibilities include developing environmental talent for SABIC within the Americas.

Before joining SABIC, Tracy was Assistant General Counsel – EHS at Chemtura Corp., and a Member of the law firm of Husch & Eppenberger.

Ms. Perkins has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Rolla, as well as a J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
