Learn about the methodology behind CR Magazine's 12-year-old 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, known as the world’s top corporate responsibility ranking, and recognized by PR Week as one of America's top three most-important business rankings. The methodology, consists of 324 data points in seven categories, uses publicly available data on Russell 1000 companies. The information is reviewed by the ESG investor data firm IW Financial, and the rankings are then determined by CR Magazine using an open and transparent methodology that is reviewed annually by a Methodology Committee made up of CR practitioners, academics, and other advisers.

Richard Crespin

Richard Crespin

Richard Crespin is the Executive Director of the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association and the President of SharedXpertise Media, publishers of Corporate Responsibility Magazine.

As the professional society for corporate responsibility executives, the CROA accelerates the profession of corporate responsibility. CROA members transform ideas into action, advancing corporate responsibility (CR), the profession, and their careers. CROA members get the full picture of CR's potential. As the largest independent CR community, CROA was founded on the concept that to excel in corporate responsibility, organizations need to embrace all CR disciplines: sustainability, best practices in governance, social responsibility, and philanthropy.

In addition to serving as the CROA's Executive Director, Mr. Crespin also serves as President of SharedXpertise Media, the publishers of the Corporate Responsibility Magazine and the organizers of the COMMIT!Forum. CR Magazine is most well known for publishing the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, a compilation of the most transparent and accountable publicly traded firms in the United States. The COMMIT!Forum calls on organizations to make specific commitments to change the world. Through CR Magazine and the COMMIT!Forum SharedXpertise shines a light on how businesses can maximize their positive impact while minimizing or eliminating the negative.

In previous roles, Mr. Crespin has worked with some of the largest finance and logistics enterprises in the world, including the world's largest supply chain organization, the US Transportation Command, and for several large multinational banks. Before coming to SharedXpertise, he founded The Delve Group, Inc, a premier market research firm. He also worked for American Management Systems where he headed the company's Defense Strategy Consulting Practice.

Mr. Crespin is an alumnus of both the George Washington University and the Harvard Business School. He recently served as Immediate Past President of the George Washington Alumni Association, with responsibility for the University's 225,000 living alumni around the world. He is a sought after speaker on corporate responsibility, business ethics, and employee engagement. He is also a regular blogger for Forbes.com. He lives in Falls Church with his wife Emily where they enjoy trying their hands at "extreme parenting" with their three young children.

Elizabeth Boudrie

Elizabeth Boudrie

Elizabeth Boudrie has 25 years experience in research management, and product and service development across a variety of business-to-business industries. In her current role as Vice President, Research at SharedXpertise, Elizabeth oversees all global research efforts addressing topics such as corporate responsibility, and transformation and outsourcing of business processes. The foundation of Elizabeth’s qualitative research expertise is a decade of experience with the ABC/CEB, the preeminent provider of executive-level qualitative information. Elizabeth’s experience at the health care information and research firm Ingenix, a division of UnitedHealth Group, ultimately serving as Vice President of Product Management, broadened her exposure to the research and information services industry.

Elizabeth has combined her research and product development/management experience to help organizations generate new business and clients by evaluating market demand; developing cost, production, and distribution strategies to bring product to market; and, positioning product in the market to sell.

NAEM Introduces Excellence Awards

The National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM) will host its inaugural Excellence Awards on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the 26th Annual EHS & Sustainability Management Forum. During this award program's first year, NAEM will be presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award and six NexGen Leader Awards, thanks to supporting sponsorship by AECOM. The NAEM Excellence Awards exist to recognize and elevate leaders in the corporate EHS&S community as well as showcase best practices of EHS&S management in corporations.

NAEM to Contribute Research Insights to May 30 Arcadis Webinar
