Kisa Adkins Baskin is the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Director for WernerCo., a leader in safety and security solutions. WernerCo. is a privately owned, fully integrated manufacturer and distributor of climbing products, access systems, fall protection equipment and jobsite truck and van storage equipment. WernerCo’s is based in Itasca, IL with offices and manufacturing facilities located throughout North America, Europe, China, and Australia.
Kisa joined WernerCo in December 2021, as their first ESG Director. In her role, she is responsible for developing and executing the overall ESG Strategy as well as the environmental (E Pillar) strategy. She in partnership with WernerCo’s General Counsel, and Chief Human Resource Officer, provide oversight and guidance for the three pillars, ensuring they align with the Company’s strategic plan. Kisa is a key member of WernerCo’s senior leadership team, and she is also a member of WernerCo’s Women’s Inclusion Network (WWIN) Steering Committee.
Previously, Ms. Baskin led global environmental programs as the Director of Environmental Affairs for TreeHouse Foods and as the Senior Manager, Global Environmental and Compliance for Newell Brands. In both roles, she was responsible for global environmental compliance and assurance, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. At each company she was actively engaged and led cross-functional committees focused on continuous improvement throughout the organization(s).
Ms. Baskin graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science from Marshall University. She began her career as a regulator for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, followed by several years with CH2M Hill, now Jacobs Engineering. She has been active in NAEM since 2010 and has served as part of the planning committee for NAEM’s Women’s Leadership Roundtable in 2017 and 2022.
Kisa currently resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband Justin, their son Fyn, and two pugs Elvis and Stella.
