Claude leveraged over 20 years of cross-industry experience to solve a critical biomedical waste challenge at Takeda’s Covington, GA plant, where capacity limits threatened the company’s 90% landfill diversion goal. He developed a digital tool that enabled processing and recycling partnerships, ultimately diverting 1.1 million pounds of plastic (5.5 million bottles) from landfill and reducing Scope 3 emissions by 9,000 tons annually. Through technical expertise and collaborative leadership, Claude advanced circularity while ensuring the company met its ambitious sustainability targets.
