Christin Weggemann

Christin is an innovative, strategic and passionate environmental, health & safety, and sustainability (EHSS) professional with over 15 years of experience in EHSS consulting and leadership. As a consultant, she worked closely with multi-sector and multi-national corporate clients to identify and control EHSS risks to improve regulatory and business performance and meet sustainability goals. She has a diverse range of experience working with clients to meet their business goals and objectives through the planning, implementation, and management of a wide range of projects which include compliance assurance programs, EHSS policy development, regulatory reporting, and EHSS/environmental, social and governance (ESG) transactional consulting.

Currently, Christin is the Global Director for Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Systems & Services at Medtronic. She leads the organization responsible for establishing EHS standards and developing programs that support Medtronic’s commitments to provide a safe working environment and to operate in a manner that protects natural resources. Christin provides leadership of the processes and tools used to execute EHS and sustainability programs, develops initiatives to improve corporate-wide sustainability and EHS performance, and communicates Medtronic’s commitments and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
