Kathleen is an internationally recognized EHS leader and passionate advocate for business as a force for social and environmental good. With more than thirty years of experience, Kathleen has driven EHS and sustainability strategies in several industries including electronics, chemicals, automotive and toys. In 2023, Kathleen founded a consultancy that provides strategic advice aimed at strengthening the overall resiliency of global supply chains through integrating regulatory compliance, risk management and sustainability strategy and management systems. She advises manufacturers, investors and industry associations.
Previous experience includes leadership roles with Apple, Cisco Systems, Mattel, Honeywell and Allied Signal where she has driven responsible supply chain design and operations to ensure safe working conditions and the resiliency of the communities in which factories operate. She has also driven the advancement of industry-wide voluntary standards as the Vice President of the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates and as the President of the Chlorine Institute.
Kathleen presently serves as Deputy Board Chair and Treasurer of the Alliance for Water Stewardship and the Advisory Board of Valuufy. She has previously represented the US business community as a member of the Global Reporting Initiative’s Technical Advisory Committee and chaired the Board of Directors for the Responsible Business Alliance.
She earned her MS in environmental management from the University of Oklahoma School of Public Health and a BA from American University in Washington, DC.
