Robert Dornau is an ESG and sustainability executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning climate markets, emissions trading, carbon verification, ESG benchmarking, sustainability data products and corporate engagement. At S&P Global Sustainable1, he has led the global corporate engagement and solutions strategy for the Corporate Sustainability Assessment, scaling participation to more than 3,600 companies and approximately 50% of the global market capitalization represented by the S&P Global BMI. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at RobecoSAM and SGS, built carbon-market technology and advisory businesses, and represented industry perspectives in international climate-policy forums.
