Parynaz Mehta

Parynaz Mehta is the Senior Director, Global Product Stewardship at Johnson & Johnson MedTech. She has been with J&J for 19 years and in her role – she leads the global compliance function that delivers high impact outcomes to reduce regulatory risk, accelerate time to market, protect revenue and company reputation across multiple jurisdictions. Parynaz combines broad MedTech product portfolio insights with deep technical expertise in global environmental chemical and product legislation and translates that expertise into practical, implementable policy and compliance solutions.

Parynaz started her career at J&J as the New Jersey Environmental Lead for Cordis Corporation (one of the J&J business units). She took on responsibility for Product Stewardship for Cordis and then MedTech and has built the J&J MedTech Product Stewardship program from ground up. Before joining J&J, Parynaz was an ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor and an environmental systems and compliance consultant.

Parynaz graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts with a joint Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering and Urban and Environmental Policy. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Life-Sciences with a specialization in Macromolecular Biology from University of Mumbai, India. She currently resides in Houston, Texas.
