William F. Hoffman III (Bill) works on new program development and the standards supporting those programs, including circular economy, product circularity and site waste diversion. Recent standards have focused on Zero Waste, Net Zero Water, Circular
Economy, recycled content, and Ocean Plastics. Bill has focused on the sustainability of products for over 25 years at Motorola, the Chicago Waste to Profit Network and now at UL Solutions.
He has a
BS in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Illinois Institute of Technology.
