OPEX23 Speaker Abstracts

About the Conference

NAEM’s software and technology conference has been a unique event in the EHS and Sustainability marketplace since 2001. The objective of the event is to showcase a variety of EHS and Sustainability software applications and data management practices in one venue to support the EHS and Sustainability Managers in their challenges, including needs assessments, selection, implementation, and on-going use of tools that will enhance the strength of their programs. 2023 Agenda Tracks

We are seeking abstracts that address how corporate Sustainability, ESG and EHS leaders are using software and technology tools to manage data, achieve business objectives and meet reporting requirements. We will organize the conference around three tracks that will broadly address:
  1. EHS Management & Compliance
  2. Carbon Accounting & GHG Data Management
  3. Corporate ESG Reporting

NAEM is looking for proposals that also explore:
  1. How emerging technologies are being used to mitigate risk, unlock new data insights, increase operational efficiency (examples include: faster permitting, creating comprehensive training programs, conducting ergonomic assessments, reducing SIFs, etc.)
  2. Case studies from companies that have built integration between their EHS&S systems with other business systems (like HR, ERM or Operations) as well as between different EHS&S systems within their own department
  3. How to create data and reporting infrastructure to respond to the urgency of ESG issues
