Andrea Hine

Andrea Hine is currently coaching IOT and physical AI startups on practical applications in industrial operations, drawing from her past work as Connected Worker Product Owner, Industrial Technology at Suncor Energy.

With more than a decade of operational experience in Alberta’s oil sands, Andrea brings deep expertise in innovation, safety, and large-scale change leadership. Her hands-on industry perspective and commitment to advancing digital enablement strengthen Alberta IoT’s advisory community and our mission to accelerate innovation across the province.

Andrea holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University. She volunteers with United Way Women United and Calgary Food Bank, and enjoys powerlifting, cooking, and smart-home engineering.
