Han Zhang, Ph.D.

Han Zhang, Ph.D., the Global Sustainability Director for Dow Packaging & Specialty Plastics, is dedicated to enhancing the sustainability value of plastics through collaboration with the entire value chain. Zhang works closely with the global sustainability team to advance Dow’s Transform the Waste, Close the Loop, and Protect the Climate targets. Additionally, Zhang leads external engagement with key partnerships and thought leaders to drive meaningful progress in sustainability initiatives.

Zhang earned his doctorate degree in the School of Natural Resources and the Environment from the University of Michigan in 2009. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University.
