Makayla Bonney is a sustainability and climate disclosure leader with more than a decade of experience helping organizations identify, measure, and communicate sustainability impacts, risks, and opportunities.

As Sustainability Reporting & Disclosures Leader at Kimberly-Clark, she leads sustainability reporting strategy and regulatory readiness efforts, partnering across business functions to enhance transparency and compliance with evolving disclosure requirements. Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Makayla advised Fortune 500 companies at Deloitte on sustainability and climate reporting, with a focus on CSRD, ISSB, climate risk assessment, and disclosure readiness. Her career also includes leadership roles in capital planning at Indiana University, where she advanced institutional sustainability strategy and reporting. She continues to contribute to the next generation of business leaders as a frequent guest lecturer at the IU Kelley School of Business.

Makayla holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geography and Environmental Sustainability from Southern Illinois University. She resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
