Melissa Lilienthal is an accomplished Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) leader with over 20 years of experience driving safety excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management across global manufacturing environments. As the EHS Director- Americas at Emerson’s Measurement Solutions business, she leads the strategic direction, development, and implementation of EHS programs that foster a culture of ownership, strengthen risk management practices, and enable continuous improvement. Known for her collaborative leadership style, Melissa excels at engaging cross-functional teams, influencing business leaders, and building high-performing EHS cultures. She has a proven track record of advancing safety performance through data-driven initiatives.

Melissa lives in the Minneapolis area with her husband learning how to be ‘empty nesters’ as parents of two college-aged daughters. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Science from St. Catherine University and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
