Charley Kubler

Charley Kubler, CHMM serves as Director of Corporate Environment, Health & Safety for IP Corporation, where he leads enterprise-wide programs focused on environmental stewardship, occupational health and safety, process safety, product responsibility, risk management, and emergency management across a diverse chemical manufacturing organization. In this role, he develops and advances corporate EHS strategy, establishes management system standards, and supports EHS leaders across multiple manufacturing facilities in driving operational excellence and continual improvement.

A seasoned EHS and sustainability leader, Charley has built his career helping organizations strengthen environmental management systems, health and safety programs, process safety management, emergency preparedness and response capabilities, product stewardship initiatives, and sustainability-focused business practices. His work has helped organizations improve compliance, reduce risk, enhance operational performance, and achieve long-term business objectives. Known for translating complex regulatory requirements and management system principles into practical, scalable solutions, Charley brings a strategic yet results-oriented approach to protecting people, communities, and the environment while supporting business growth and resilience.

Prior to joining IP Corporation, Charley held EHS & Sustainability leadership roles with organizations including 3M, United Airlines, CHS and Medxcel. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), state-certified firefighter, incident commander, Fellow of the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM), and Fellow of the Association of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP). An active contributor to the profession, Charley serves on the planning committee for NAEM's EHS & Sustainability Management Forum and frequently shares his experience designing and improving integrated management systems for environment, health & safety, product responsibility, and sustainability functions across industry.
