Carol Singer Neuvelt

Carol Singer Neuvelt is a visionary leader who excels at organizational growth, professional development, stakeholder engagement, innovation, and leveraging diverse experiences to drive success in her field. Under her leadership, NAEM expanded from a small group of environmental professionals to the largest professional community for EHS & Sustainability decision-makers. Under her leadership, NAEM consistently delivers quality professional development programming.

Her roles in government (EPA and The White House), politics (Capitol Hill), and private industry (lobbying) have equipped her with a versatile skill set. This breadth of experience contributes to her ability to understand and navigate the complex landscape of corporate sustainability and governmental regulations, making her an effective leader in a multi-faceted field like EHS&S. Her expertise and insights have been featured in numerous publications and shared at various conferences where she has served as a keynote speaker and presenter.

Carol is known for fostering meaningful connections among EHS and Sustainability leaders and is proud of the vibrant professional community she helped build and shape at NAEM.

Nicole Wilkinson

Executive Director of HSE
CVS Health



As Executive Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Nicole Wilkinson provides strategic direction and enterprise oversight of HSE management programs for CVS Health. Nicole empowers people and creates high-performing teams and a strong compliance and safety culture that supports over 10,000 locations including retail pharmacies, Distribution Centers, Minute Clinics and Oak Street Health Primary Care Services, Specialty and Mail Order Pharmacies, Infusion Pharmacies, Long Term Care Pharmacies, and Aetna and CVS Health corporate facilities. Responsibilities include environmental and OSHA regulatory compliance, EHS management systems, emergency response, waste minimization and sustainability initiatives. Nicole focuses on integrating and operationalizing programs in support of business operations.

Prior to joining CVS Health, she managed environmental, health and safety programs for Dominion Power generation facilities in the Northeast and Midwest including the permitting and construction of air pollution control and cooling tower projects at the Brayton Point Power Station. Nicole spent ten years of her career as a civil & environmental engineering consultant helping commercial and industrial clients with innovative solutions for site design and environmental permitting services.

She holds a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Roger Williams University and a M.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Rhode Island.

Nicole is the Chair of the NAEM Board of Directors.
