Laurel Peacock

Ms. Peacock joined NGP in 2022 and serves as Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).  Ms. Peacock applies 14 years of sustainability and ESG experience to NGP and its portfolio companies, with key strengths in integrating ESG performance into strategy and core business operations within the energy industry.

Prior to joining NGP, Ms. Peacock served as Director of Sustainability at NRG Energy in Houston, where she set industry-leading, science-based carbon reduction goals and focused on engaging management and the Board to address key ESG issues. Prior to NRG, Ms. Peacock spent time as a strategy and management consultant at a boutique sustainability consulting firm in California.

Ms. Peacock earned a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College in 2004 and an MBA with a sustainable business emphasis from San Francisco State University in 2010.
