Are You Ready for the 4th Industrial Revolution?
Among environment, health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S) professionals, there’s buzz that the 4th Industrial Revolution is beginning.

EHS&S functions are at the early stages of adopting cutting-edge Industrial Internet of Things (IloT) technologies like artificial intelligence, smart sensors, drones and more. Virtual reality and mobile apps are now changing how companies train employees and track safety records. However, there is very little concrete, actionable information to guide EHS&S leaders as they evaluate which, if any, of these next generation technologies are gaining traction and what challenges they may face integrating new technologies with existing software systems.

To shed light on these issues, NAEM is developing an in-depth research report which combines survey data from a broad range of EHS&S professionals as well as interviews with EHS&S leaders who have already implemented ground-breaking technologies. The report will cover the topics above as well as how companies are handling the volume of data generated by the IIoT and a more connected workforce. The results of this research will be presented at NAEM’s Software, Innovation & Technology Showcase on March 4-5, 2020 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Register today to get an inside scoop on how EHS&S professionals are tackling adopting cutting-edge technology at naem.org/tech.
