May 25, 2011 — Thought-leading author Andrew Winston will speak at this fall’s 19th annual EHS Management Forum in Tucson, Ariz., the Forum committee announced this week.

The author of "Green Recovery” and a strategist for companies such as Bank of America and Reuters, Winston is an expert in intersection of business and sustainability.  Forum Chairman Steve Walker, Manager of Environmental Sustainability for Burt’s Bees Inc., said Winston’s presentation will elucidate this year’s theme of "EHS and Sustainability Success in the New Economic Era.”

"I’m looking forward to his practical insights into how to grow my business while also guarding the people and the planet,” he said. "That’s the triple bottom line that more and more businesses are realizing that they must manage against.

"Mere compliance with legal EHS requirements is no longer sufficient. How to go "beyond compliance” in a very meaningful way that also benefits your business is key for today’s EHS and sustainability managers.”

Each year the NAEM Forum draws more than 500 environmental, health and safety (EHS), and sustainability leaders for two days of case study presentations and inspirational speakers.
