With nearly a decade of experience as an EHS professional, Darla has spent the past four years applying her EHS expertise to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors. Darla’s career has been marked by significant achievements including her leadership in EHS and Sustainability implementation at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies’ new $2 Billion USD greenfield facility located in Holly Springs, NC. Notably, Darla has spearheaded the site’s efforts to achieve unprecedented site-wide LEED Gold certification. In addition, she played a pivotal role in developing Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies Sustainability initiative, Partner’s for the Planet. Beyond her core responsibilities, Darla is a passionate advocate for sustainable practices, dedicated to educating and inspiring others to prioritize environmental awareness. Darla holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, as well as a Master of Business Administration.
