Safety is a passion of Deanna’s and drove her to complete her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. Deanna oversees all aspects of Safety and Compliance at Vertical Cold Storage, but throughout her career, she has been responsible for developing and implementing numerous effective safety programs in different manufacturing and warehousing operations. Her current role allows her to educate Vertical Cold Storage employees on safe work practices and allows them to return home to their families each day. Through Voxel, and other safety-based systems, Vertical Cold Storage has been able to give employees additional tools that help identify, mitigate, and eliminate hazards that could prevent that from happening.
