Deborah L. Briggs, MBA, CSP, CPPM serves as Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Facilities at Polaris Industries. Polaris designs, engineers, manufactures and markets innovative, high quality off-road vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and the Polaris RANGER® and RZR® side-by-side vehicles, snowmobiles, and on-road electric/hybrid powered vehicles.
Deborah leads the EHS, Security and Facilities strategy focused on advancing a culture of zero harm and operational excellence. With more than 30 years of experience across manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, and retail sectors, Deborah is a recognized leader in driving enterprise-wide risk reduction, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prior to joining Polaris in 2015, Deborah spent over two decades at Cargill, Incorporated, where she held a range of leadership roles spanning environmental compliance, business development, global EHS systems, and operations management. Her work has included leading global compliance programs, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and delivering measurable improvements in safety, security, energy efficiency, and environmental performance across complex organizations.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Science from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. She is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM). She is also actively engaged in industry and community leadership, serving on nonprofit and advisory boards.
