Kathya Mahadevan
Senior Sustainability Leader, Circular Economy

Ms. Mahadevan leads strategy and execution of key Circular Economy and Sustainability initiatives for Owens Corning (OC). OC is a global leader in residential and commercial building products leader products. She leads OC’s Zero Waste to Landfill initiative and is driving reduction, reuse, and recycling efforts across the network of 150+ plant. Working with teams at OC, she is leading efforts to innovate on technology and new business models.
Ms. Mahadevan has over twenty years of experience in sustainable technology development and commercial application with Battelle. She led Armada Power, a grid aggregation service spin-off from Battelle, from concept to commercial acquisition.
She holds a M.S. in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University and an Executive Education certificate in Corporate Sustainability from New York University. Outside of work, Ms. Mahadevan is passionate about STEM education and engaging young minds. She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and playing tennis.
