Peter Hereña is the Manager of Process Safety for CF Industries, the world’s largest producer of ammonia. His responsibilities include setting direction and supporting implementation of process safety initiatives within the company. He also
manages projects related to governance, access and visualization for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) data across CF manufacturing. His experience is rooted in data science, quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, reliability analysis, process
engineering, control system design, and equipment commissioning. He has a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech, and Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University.
