Rico is the Director of Safety Assurance at Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E). He is responsible for PG&E’s Health & Safety Management (HSMS), Corporate Safety Audit and Safety Assurance activities. Rico has an extensive technical and work experience in construction, process/technical safety engineering and EHS management systems in energy, oil and gas sectors.
Prior to joining PG&E, Rico was responsible for managing the asset integrity and compliance programs in one of the leading US oil and gas companies. Rico holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
