Steve fell in love with creating engaging learning experiences while developing a store simulator—the first of its kind ever developed—and a solution that earned him a Computerworld award, a place in the Smithsonian, and a passion for the results that effective learning experiences can achieve. He has led the development of over 500 learning experiences—including more than 50 EHS&S courses—and brings valuable perspective and insight with his vast experience identifying needs, designing educational solutions, and implementing experiences. As an innovator in his field, Steve’s achievements have been recognized by numerous industry awards and speaking engagements. He’s obsessed with creating new learning experiences to increase ability, improve performance, and change behavior. His diverse background and technical expertise, combined with his broad experience in a wide variety of industries, are invaluable in understanding the challenges that businesses must meet to succeed in today's competitive marketplace.
As the Co-Founder of Imagincy, Steve leads a team of instructional designers, learning architects, writers, technologists, filmmakers, actors, animators, and artists. These Imaginists are experts at combining their extensive knowledge of instructional design with their business expertise to create learning solutions (live or online, virtual reality or in-real-life, facilitated or self-paced) that motivate employees and transfers learning to the job—making a difference at each point in an employee’s and organization’s journey.
