Marie Gildow is an Environmental Engineer for American Electric Power focused on compliance with environmental programs and permits. Since 2015 she has focused on industrial wastewater and construction stormwater NPDES permitting and compliance for electrical
power plants. In 2022, she transitioned into supporting transmission & distribution operations. She manages Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure plans as well as petroleum storage tank compliance across AEP’s 11-state footprint.
Her favorite part of her job is helping other people solve problems when they don’t know what to do next and helping to keep things running smoothly.
