Dave's passion for making a difference in the practice of EHS and Sustainability is evident to anyone who works alongside him. Over the past five years, Dave has spearheaded implementation of the CVS Health EHS Management Information System (EMIS). When he took on the project, Dave was managing corporate environmental real estate matters and knew nothing about implementation and management of an EMIS.
Throughout the implementation phase, and now post-implementation support/maintenance/enhancements phase of the EMIS, Dave has demonstrated his passion for making a difference in the practice of EHS. He continuously drives to make the HSE Team at CVS better by strategically pushing for user adoption, looking for ways to utilize the EMIS to make implementation of HSE programs better, and illustrating enterprise analytics and dashboards to meet business partners’ needs for more visibility to HSE metrics. Data-driven HSE goals and objectives are now the focus due to Dave’s instrumental contributions to the HSE Team.
Dave is also passionate about contributing to sustainability goals at CVS. Through his work in implementing the EMIS, Dave has worked with the ESG Team to establish a way to generate good quality regulated waste and safety data for sustainability reporting.
