Mike has dedicated more than three decades to advancing EHS & Sustainability and recently retired as Senior Vice President of Global EHS at The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC). Under his leadership, ELC’s global operations—from manufacturing and distribution to retail and R&D—achieved extraordinary results in all aspects of EHS&S. He spearheaded the company’s first Corporate Social Responsibility Report, led efforts to achieve zero industrial waste to landfill, and championed renewable energy projects that now power ELC with 100% renewable electricity. Because of his vision and commitment, ELC has been honored with the EPA Green Power Award, recognized on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, and earned a place on CDP’s Climate A List. Mike is also known for his mentorship and humanity—empowering the next generation of EHS&S professionals to lead with purpose, technical excellence, and heart.
