Describe a situation in which the Nominee exhibited effective influence within your organization. Further define any technical expertise, business acumen, and/or emotional intelligence that contributed to the Nominee's effectiveness. (500 word max.)*
Kristin's greatest strength is her ability to influence organizations without relying on positional authority. One of the strongest examples has been her leadership in developing Inmar's enterprise sustainability governance and commercialization strategy.
Rather than approaching ESG as an isolated environmental initiative, Kristin recognized that meaningful progress required alignment across Product, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Healthcare Sales, Information Technology, and Executive Leadership. Each organization viewed sustainability through a different lens: regulatory compliance, customer expectations, operational feasibility, commercial opportunity, financial investment, or technology enablement.
Kristin became the connector across these functions. She translated evolving environmental regulations into practical business processes, helped technical teams understand commercial implications, enabled commercial leaders to communicate sustainability value with customers, and aligned executive leadership around a common strategy.
Her influence was grounded in deep technical expertise in environmental compliance, waste determination, reverse logistics, ESG reporting, and product lifecycle management. Equally important was her ability to communicate complex regulatory issues in business terms that encouraged collaboration instead of resistance.
The result was the creation of an enterprise ESG governance framework, implementation of sustainability reporting capabilities, stronger customer engagement around ESG performance, and greater organizational alignment around sustainability as a strategic business capability rather than simply a compliance obligation.
Kristin's leadership demonstrates that empowering systems begins with empowering people. By building trust, facilitating collaboration, and creating shared ownership, she established systems that continue to mature across the organization.

Explain a situation where the Nominee achieved exceptional results within their area of responsibility. Include relevant metrics or KPIs as proof of impact. (500 word max.)*
During the past year, Kristin led one of Inmar's most significant sustainability transformations by moving ESG from a collection of individual initiatives to a structured enterprise management system that supports environmental performance, governance, commercialization, and long-term business strategy.
She championed the development of Inmar's enterprise ESG governance framework, establishing policies, performance metrics, and reporting processes that created a consistent, data-driven approach to sustainability management. Under her leadership, Inmar published its first annual Sustainability and Ethical Impact Report, a foundational milestone that provides customers, partners, and stakeholders with transparent reporting on the company's environmental, social, and governance performance.
Kristin also led the completion of Inmar's first comprehensive Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas inventory for U.S. operations, establishing the organization's first credible emissions baseline for future reduction planning and climate governance. The 2025 inventory documented 963.6 metric tons of CO₂e in Scope 1 emissions, 2,556.1 metric tons of CO₂e in Scope 2 location-based emissions, and 3,519.7 metric tons of CO₂e in combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. These metrics now serve as the foundation for enterprise climate strategy, emissions reduction planning, and ongoing performance measurement.
Beyond internal governance, Kristin strengthened Inmar's external ESG credibility by leading efforts that resulted in the company securing its first EcoVadis sustainability rating, providing an independent benchmark of Inmar's sustainability management practices against globally recognized standards. She also positioned the organization for future participation in leading disclosure frameworks, including CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), further strengthening transparency and long-term accountability.
Kristin's impact extended beyond reporting. She integrated sustainability into commercialization efforts supporting healthcare, life sciences, and government solutions, aligning environmental objectives with customer value propositions, operational execution, and regulatory readiness. By embedding sustainability into business systems rather than treating it as a standalone initiative, she created repeatable capabilities that improve governance, strengthen customer confidence, support compliance, and position Inmar for continued growth in sustainability-driven markets.
Her leadership demonstrates that meaningful environmental progress is achieved not only through individual projects but by building the systems, governance, and organizational capabilities that enable continuous improvement over time.

Provide an example of how the Nominee's decision-making skills and/or problem-solving approach supported a positive outcome. (500 word max.)*
Healthcare organizations increasingly face competing priorities: regulatory compliance, sustainability expectations, operational efficiency, customer demands, and financial performance.
Kristin consistently approaches these challenges through systems thinking rather than isolated problem solving.
One example involved advancing sustainable product disposition and waste management solutions while navigating complex environmental regulations. Rather than optimizing only one component of the process, she evaluated the entire product lifecycle—from customer needs through regulatory requirements, operational execution, vendor capabilities, commercialization, and environmental outcomes.
She assembled stakeholders representing legal, operations, product management, procurement, sustainability, healthcare sales, and finance to evaluate risks, opportunities, and implementation challenges. Through this collaborative approach, the team identified scalable solutions that improved compliance, reduced operational complexity, strengthened strategic partnerships, and increased customer value.
Kristin's decision-making process emphasizes long-term organizational capability over short-term fixes. She asks how today's decision will support future growth, strengthen resilience, improve customer outcomes, and create sustainable business practices.
Her thoughtful, collaborative approach consistently produces solutions that balance environmental responsibility with operational excellence.
