Currently, she supports the environmental and safety compliance and portfolio integration of new acquisitions and consumer engagement activities in stores and counters. Drena leads the communication strategy of her team and successfully helped to drive the inclusion of safety KPI's in the performance development plans of retail field managers. She cares deeply about the health and safety of people and the environment and is constantly looking at new ideas and opportunities to create a culture of environmental, health and safety. Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Drena honed her environmental and safety career at Fortune 500 companies such as United Technologies, Shell Oil and General Electric. In addition to her core safety and environmental focus, Drena is passionate about talent development. She actively looks for development and stretch opportunities for her direct reports. However, her strength in talent development is not limited to her discipline. In 2015, she was nominated to co-chair one of ELC's employee resource groups, the Network of Black Leaders and Executives (NOBLE). Drena helped to identify talent and fill over 10 vacant leadership positions and encouraged the formation of committees and sub-committees that has afforded NOBLE its highest membership participation, event frequency and attendance since its inception.

Drena is currently a member of the Board of Regents for the National Association of Environmental, Health, Safety and Environmental Managers. She is a Board Certified Safety Professional and holds a Master of Environmental Management ('05) and Master of Public Health ('06) from Yale University. In 2014, she was awarded the 'Rising Star of Safety' by the National Safety Council.
