Max is the General Manager – Health, Safety and Security for the In-Flight Service division of Delta Air Lines. He is responsible for development, implementation, and improvement of key health and safety policies, procedures, programs, strategies,
analytics and process improvements to drive reduction of flight attendant injuries and incidents.
Prior to his current role, Max led the safety strategy team for Delta Global Services / Unifi, focused on incident reduction for aviation ground employees. He also has prior experience leading global EHS programs at companies like General Electric and Greif.
He is a NAEM NexGen Leader award-winning environment, health, and safety leader experienced in global EHS leadership of distributed industrial facilities, aviation operations, and project sites; who uses empowerment of and collaboration with coworkers at all levels, along with digital technology and strategic data insights, in order to achieve a zero-incident culture with world-class EHS results.
Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He lives with his wife and daughter in Atlanta.
