John Martin
Senior Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Manager
Polaris
John is a senior manager of Environmental, Health, Safety and Security for Polaris Inc. In this role, he primarily supports the global engineering functions at Polaris by leading the EHS&S execution across diverse business needs, with a focus on continuous improvement, compliance, and on the integration of risk-based safety into standard practices.
Over his almost 20-year career across a multitude of businesses, John has been able to manage and support his businesses through industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, ergonomic risk reductions, ISO audit practices and a multitude of other practices based on business needs. Within his journey across a multitude of businesses, John has also led Quality Management Systems (QMS), EHS programs across various global operations, and driven initiatives that strengthened safety culture as well as leading and supporting both Security functions and Sustainability initiatives within these organizations.
John holds a degree in Environmental Science from St. Cloud State University (MN) and holds several post graduate certifications.
