Toledo Regional Event
June 23, 2026 | Virtual EventFederal Environmental Regulatory Rollbacks and the PFAS Regulatory Rodeo
Tuesday, June 23, 2026 | 9:00 - 10:30 AM EST💻 Virtual: Microsoft Teams
PFAS has become a hot-button issue over the last several years, and trying to stay current on the latest developments often feels like drinking from a fire hose. However, understanding current regulatory requirements, rollbacks, and trends is crucial to planning for future use of PFAS-containing chemicals, their handling, and cleanup/remediation. Failure to anticipate and address these risks may result in regulatory non-compliance, costly remediation or investigation obligations, and long-term financial and reputational impacts.
During this virtual event, we’ll review recent federal regulatory and policy changes advancing deregulation, fossil fuel expansion, and reduced federal environmental authority. We'll then discuss anticipated RCRA corrective action and hazardous waste designation pathways for PFAS as well as how CWA regulations are being applied to PFAS.
