Peggy Kellen
Senior Director Policy and Market DevelopmentCenter for Resource Solutions (CRS)
Peggy Kellen directs Center for Resource Solutions’ regulatory and voluntary policy engagement, expert assistance services, and the Clean Energy Accounting Project. She is a dedicated thought leader with over 15 years of experience designing sustainable energy and corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting policies across sectors including electric power, water, transportation, oil and gas, and local governments. Peggy is recognized as a leader in GHG accounting and has advised on the GHG reporting and verification requirements for the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB), and others.
Previously, Peggy directed The Climate Registry’s carbon footprint reporting and verification policies, promoted national residential energy efficiency campaigns for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, supported U.S. EPA’s ENERGY STAR Homes program and developed congressional guidance reports on key energy issues for the Consumer Energy Council of America. Peggy has a M.A. in Energy and Environmental Analysis from Boston University and a B.A. in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California.
Hans Royal
Senior Director, Renewable Energy & Carbon AdvisorySchneider Electric
As a Senior Director of Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory (RECA), Hans leads Schneider Electric’s RECA Client Development team, specializing in strategic renewable energy advisory for Fortune 500 clients. His team works with large corporate and industrial companies focused on renewable energy strategy, offsite PPAs, supply chain/scope 3 renewables acceleration, and renewable energy investments.
Hans is a subject matter expert in utility-scale PPAs, project development and finance, risk management, supply chain renewables, and corporate energy strategy. He has helped lead Schneider Electric’s commercial efforts to become the dominant, market-leading advisor in the corporate PPA market, with hundreds individual PPA transactions resulting in over 15,000 MW of new wind and solar being installed globally. Hans and his team have been leading the charge to introduce long-term renewable opportunities to clients and to get them engaged to make an impact. Hans has designed and led multiple significant industry innovations, including Schneider Electric’s ground-breaking Supply Chain Renewables programs (highlighted by the Walmart PPA Program, the pharmaceutical industry-wide program Energize, PepsiCo+ REnew, among others), as well as supporting large corporations in becoming tax equity investors.
Ryan McMullan
PrincipalLean Green Way
Over his career Ryan McMullan has led several Sustainability programs including at Toyota’s Corporate Responsibility department and Rice University’s Facilities & Engineering department. These have included strategically developing and deploying environmental targets across a wide variety of functional groups, reporting on environmental progress, greenhouse gas inventories, and developing programs for zero waste, zero carbon, and zero water. He now supports organizations like Lockheed-Martin, Walmart, CyrusOne, and the Mattress Recycling Council, to help them establish leading sustainability strategies.
He earned his Masters from the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at UC Santa Barbara and his Bachelor's from Rice University. At home he keeps busy improving the sustainability of his home in Long Beach, California, teaching his 16-year-old son to conserve resources and design games, and doing guest lectures at universities.

Environmental EngineerLockheed Martin
Kyle Hoppe is an Environmental Engineer with Lockheed Martin’s Corporate Sustainability Energy Team where he currently focuses on enterprise renewable energy strategy. Previously Kyle was the facilities energy manager for Space’s Waterton campus and the energy engineer for the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Support Contract. In these roles Kyle gained experience managing unique site utility budgets, energy efficiency project management, building automation controls and renewable microgrid systems.

Katie Eisenbrown is the Global Technical director for Sustainability Measurement at Arcadis, specializing in sustainability strategy and environmental and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) resource management and public reporting. She has 17 years of experience managing GHG emissions across industries. She has supported more than 80 organizations to measure, mange and report on GHG emissions impacts and ambitions. Recent projects include Scope 3 relevance assessments, carbon accounting software evaluation and implementation support as well as methodology reviews. She has completed goal achievement strategies and investment needs for science-based targets and Net Zero targets for submission to SBTi. She focuses on delivering high quality inventories to lead to realistic goal achievement strategies with clear actions.
