Erin Donovan is a Senior Manager of Health, Safety, Sustainability & Environment.
She completed her undergrad degree from the University of Alberta in Reclamation and Remediation and worked in that field for a grand total of 2 years before moving on to various other environmental scopes. Erin is also a Professional Agrologist.
Erin started working on Sustainability nearly 10 years ago, when companies assumed it was solely an environmental function and then moved on to a full EHS & S role. She enjoys working with industries and the public to explain how the two can work together and development and environmental stewardship can happen in the same space as well as how we can use technology to increase adoption of safety tools to increase compliance and keep employees safe.
Ms. Donovan has spoken on numerous panels around how we can improve Health and Safety and Sustainability.
When not trying to explain how EHS is exciting, Erin can be found at any of the recreation centres around Edmonton with her son or at the lake.
